The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is a standardized computer-based test that measures the English language ability of non-native speakers, particularly those wishing to enroll in English-speaking universities. It is designed to assess the four key academic English skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing, as they are used in classroom settings. This makes the TOEFL an excellent indicator of a student’s preparedness for university-level coursework in English.

Accepted by over 11,500 universities and institutions in more than 190 countries and territories, the TOEFL is recognized as one of the premier English proficiency tests worldwide. It is widely used for study, work, and immigration purposes.

Choosing the TOEFL iBT test to demonstrate your English proficiency shows universities that you are ready to succeed in an academic environment. It is one of the leading English-language tests, alongside IELTS, Cambridge Assessment English, and Trinity College London exams, and offers a reliable measure of your language skills for global opportunities.
